Here is a video, in which the user has disabled the embed function so you'll have to follow the link sorry about that. My friends Bill and Pat, playing "Danville Girl" (Dock Boggs). True Heroes of mine, they should be yours too. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IuPlMA4aWcE&feature=relmfu Pat just had an LP come out as well, I recommend tracking it down as soon as you can *EDIT* here is the link (http://www.etsy.com/listing/69361913/american-songs-with-fiddle-and-banjo-lp).
And while on the topic of 1920s music and heroes... Frank, Kim, and Mike also known as The Little Brothers have put out a mind-blowing CD of country blues. And none of that "Fancy picking on fancy Chinese Martins" (Pat from the back of the CD). Check it out/support, you can probably still order there first one on CDbaby(link is for the new one, but search around for that other one). Also they were interested in having a vinyl release of that album so if you can help them out, get in touch, www.donegone.net....A video of them playing one of my favorite cuts on the album, "New Bumblebee Blues"
TOTAL SUPPORT.
I am doing nothing, I can barely play after the surgery, it hurts and I gave up on the last demos I was working on. No shows coming up or anything. Just lots of listening. There is a show in the works for May actually.
